With the May 12th home video release date of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans just around the corner, Sony Pictures has decided to give fans a few options on the release date.

Per usual, DVD Active got the early word on the special features that'll be found on the Underworld: Rise of the Lycans disc when it hits DVD and Blu-ray on May 12, 2009.

What better way to start your week than with a fresh round of dick jokes intermingled with discussion of the latest horror movies? None, that’s what, so that’s why you’re going to pee yourself when you download the latest edition of Dinner for Fiends!

One would think that a trilogy of movies detailing the emo war between vampires and werewolves would be enough, but oh no. Underworld creator Len Wiseman talked about where he wants to see the franchise go now that the trilogy is complete.

In case Nomad's mostly positive Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans hasn't whet your appetite enough for the vampire vs. werewolf prequel, below are two clips that ought to do the trick.

Premiere Props announced today that they will be hosting a charity auction of never before seen movie props and costumes from Sony Pictures’ Underworld, Underworld Evolution and the soon to be released Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, which hits theaters everywhere on January 23, 2009.

All right, this poster for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans actually has a character who plays a Lycan as its focal point, which is a step in the right direction, but it’s still not what I asked for, damnit.
