Neil Marshall made a splash in the horror world with his first two feature films Wolf Soldiers and The Descent. His eye for terror, especially seen in the claustrophobic The Descent, has left its mark on the genre. Now, he’s back with his new film The Lair which promises more monsters and claustrophobia from this horror master.

When Royal Air Force pilot Lt. Kate Sinclair is shot down over Afghanistan, she finds refuge in an abandoned underground bunker where deadly man-made biological weapons – half human, half alien – are awakened.
We got an exclusive look at the new subterranean horror. And its monster looks gnarly.

Charlotte Kirk (The Reckoning) both stars in and co-wrote The Lair. Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) and Jonathan Howard (Thor: The Dark World) also star in the film.
RLJE Films releases The Lair in theaters, On Demand, and Digital on October 28, 2022. Shudder will release the film in early 2023.
