Shadow of the Beast Remake Brings Out the Beast in You

Those of you older readers may remember a game from 1989 called Shadow of the Beast. Yup, I’m talking all the way back to the ancient days of 1989. Well, it’s before I was born anyway. If you have fond memories of the game and feel like revisiting your gory days (sorry), then you’re in luck as a remake is in development for the PS4.
For those of us not old enough to remember, the original game followed a man called Aarbron, who was transformed into a hideous monster to serve the dark lord Maletoth, but naturally, he grows tired of being a servant and seeks vengeance on those who took away his humanity.
A new trailer was shown at the Paris Games Week, and man, when it comes to finishing off his enemies, Aarbron really doesn’t hold back. Talk about tearing them a new asshole.
There’s no release date yet, but the devs did talk a bit about how the game is coming along over on the PlayStation Blog.
