LoreCraft Sculptor Brings THE NUN’s Valak to Life in Stunning Time-lapse Video

The demon nun Valak, played to chilling perfection by Bonnie Arrons, made her first appearance in 2016’s The Conjuring 2. Now, Valak is poised to become one of the 21st Century’s most iconic villains when The Nun, an origin story and the latest spinoff in The Conjuring universe, haunts US theaters beginning September 7th. The film, directed by Corin Hardy, sees Aarons returning to the big screen, along with co-stars Demián Bichir and Taissa Farmiga.
Expect to hear a lot about The Nun in the final promotional push before the film’s release. In addition to sharing recent interviews with the film’s director and leads, we’ll scour the Internet to bring you all the best Nun-related news. To that end, we’re featuring the video at the bottom of the article. It’s a time-lapse of talented sculptor Nicholas Brown (aka LoreCraft) turning lifeless lumps of gray clay into a terrifying bust of Valak that looks ready to pounce!
According to LoreCraft’s Official Website:
Before beginning sculpts, Nicholas Brown has acquired degrees in Anthropology (BA from University of South Florida), Cognitive science (MA Cognition and Culture, Queens University Belfast), and an MSc in Neuroscience (University of Edinburgh). He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Behavioural Sciences in Belfast. Primary areas of research interest; belief and behaviour, motivated reasoning, cognitive dissonance, cognitive biases, terror management theory, etc.
Born in the Boston area, raised in Florida, Nicholas moved to the UK to pursue studies in brain and behavioural sciences where he currently still resides.
Nicholas Started sculpting in April of 2017 and has since been featured on the BBC’s “Art Show X”, Esquire, The Daily Mail UK, Unilad, Caters News, George Takei Presents!, as well as many others.

Synopsis:
When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together, they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun.
