One of my personal favorites from last year was Bad Milo!, co-written and directed by Jacob Vaughan. The film’s titular butt demon was one of the most adorable little monsters in the genre’s recent past, and it looks like Vaughan is once again headed into pint-sized creature territory…
Which is quite frankly music to my ears. Read on!
According to Bloody Disgusting Vaughan has just been attached to direct The Anklebiter, which was formerly titled Zombie Baby. Penned by Andy Jones, the film is set after the zombie apocalypse and centers on a young couple who take in an undead baby, finding themselves unable to kill it. Ah, the joys of parenthood.
The script was written several years back, and it was in fact included on the 2010 Black List, the annual roundup of the hottest unproduced screenplays in Hollywood.
Can’t think of anyone more suited to tackle such a whacky tale than Jacob Vaughan, so count us in!
