Taurus Entertainment Ready to Cash-in on Fans with Another Day of the Dead Remake in 3D

If there’s one film company out there whom we take an extreme amount of issue with, it is James Glenn Dudelson and Ana Clavell’s Taurus Entertainment. The reason is because the duo take properties they ended up owning through some minor miracle and then give them horrendous in-name-only sequels to fool fans into watching and possibly buying. They’re back and ready to do more damage.
As if their laughable bad sequels Day of the Dead 2: Contagium) (review here) (btw, it’s several years later and “Contagium” is still not a word) and Creepshow 3 (review here) were not enough of a piss poor insult, they’re ready to screw with fans yet again.
According to Variety Taurus Entertainment is currently producing a remake of George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead in 3D, and Dudelson said many buyers have requested 3D conversions of classic 2D movies because “3D works well for certain genres, like horror.” But, he cautioned, “You can’t just slap a 3D conversion on the wrong type of film.”
How insightful of him. I know a couple of things I’d like to slap. Sigh, here we go again. I’ll let Frankenstein take it from here …
