Bandai Namco clearly felt that fans just couldn’t wait an extra few weeks until the March 24 release of Dark Souls III, so they went ahead and released a spin-off game to keep their hunger at bay for the time being. Kind of like a salad before the main course.
That’s right… Slashy Souls (yes, that really is what it’s called; we guess they felt that the series needed more humor) serves as a 2D side-scrolling spin-off to the hugely popular dark fantasy RPG franchise. But rest assured that it’s no less brutal and, naturally, no less difficult.
Slashy Souls is available now for iOS and Android so get ready for some hacky and slashy fun (sorry).
