Sad news is coming out of the Hellraiser family today as Simon Sayce, creator of one of the most iconic movie props in the history of cinema, the Lament Configuration, has passed on after a battle with cancer.

The news comes via Sayce’s Facebook Page, where friends and fans have gathered to share stories of Simon.

We here at Dread Central would like to take this time to extend our deepest condolences to Sayce’s friends, family, and constituents. Rest easy, Toymaker, your legacy will live on long after the shed mortal coil. Thank you for all that you gave. Here’s to ya!
