Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has proven himself to be quite the commodity around Hollywood by pretty much making several movies better by virtue of the fact that he’s in it. Now he’s gone from saving franchises to saving the world!
According to THR, Johnson is attached to star in the MGM supernatural flick Seal Team 666. Evan Spiliotopoulos is penning the script with Johnson’s former assistant, Hiram Garcia, producing. Johnson will exec produce along with his manager, Dany Garcia, as well as Brendan Deneen and Peter Joseph of Macmillan Films.
The story follows a group of Navy Seals who battle demons and assorted threats and discover that there’s a greater supernatural force bent on destroying the world.
No director is attached, and it is unknown when Johnson would fit this into his ever-growing schedule.
