Jamie Lee Curtis Shares A Special Message About ‘Halloween Ends’

Halloween Ends
Michael Myers (aka The Shape) and Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode in HALLOWEEN ENDS, directed by David Gordon Green

In 1978, Michael Myers came to Haddonfield. As he ripped and tore through the town’s teens, he forever changed the life of final girl Laurie Strode. He also changed the life of Jamie Lee Curtis, who has played Strode for 45 years. Whether trying to survive the first night he came home or fighting for her life decades later, Curtis’ career has been defined by the Halloween franchise. Now it’s coming to a (violent) close with the impending release of David Gordon Green’s Halloween Ends. And Curtis has just announced that the highly anticipated film will come to both theaters and Peacock on October 14.

She took to Instagram to share the news. In the video, she shares how excited she is for everyone to see this final film and see the twisted relationship between Strode and Myers come to an end. But Curtis is never safe as someone watches her share the news from the trees…

Watch the video below:

Curtis also teases the rewatchability of Halloween Ends, telling people that they’ll want to watch it in a theater, then immediately run home and watch it again.

Halloween Ends takes place four years after the events of Halloween Kills. Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.

Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, and James Jude Courtney as The Shape return to Halloween Ends.
