Crytek has confirmed that Ryse: Son of Rome will be available for the Xbox One and has released a video showcasing a fierce battle taking place on the shoreline with fire raining down from towers. The action-packed reveal trailer shows a promising game is ahead. Read on to learn more.

Crytek’s breathtaking new action-adventure game Ryse: Son of Rome was revealed to audiences at the E3 games expo in Los Angeles today as an Xbox One exclusive launch title. Featured during Microsoft’s E3 press conference, Ryse was shown off in a live gameplay demo and will also be playable by E3 attendees.

Synopsis:
The game, which transports players to the heart of the Roman Empire, casts players as Marius Titus, a soldier in the Roman army who must embark on a brutal journey to defend the Empire’s honor and seek revenge for the murder of his family. Utilizing the power of Crytek’s CryENGINE®, the game promises to further enhance Crytek’s reputation for creating groundbreaking interactive experiences and will also work in conjunction with Kinect for Xbox One to offer new possibilities for immersive gameplay.
