Goth babes get ready, because shirtless Bill Skarsgård is ready to rain hell down upon his enemies in director Rupert Sanders’s reimagining of The Crow. He’s trading in the Pennywise makeup for a black trenchcoat, some black eyeliner, and enough mediocre tattoos to make a younger, less discerning version of yourself swoon.

Soulmates Eric Draven and Shelly Webster are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.

The trailer alone promises an absolute bloodbath, with Skarsgård using his own body like a pin cushion to inflict the most damage on his enemies. And remember, this is a reimagining of The Crow graphic novel by James O’Barr, not the 1994 film starring the late Brandon Lee.

The Crow exclusively comes to theaters on June 7, 2024.
