Real Queen of Horror Zena Dixon Dazzles Us With an Update on Mental Health and Horror Doc

Mental Health and Horror

No one puts a smile on my face like the inimitable Zena Dixon. Zena has dazzled audiences with her short films, incited spontaneous guffaws with her YouTube videos, and made a splash in the world of horror journalism with her punchy and witty written word content. Her latest endeavor sees ‘The Real Queen of Horror’ taking on the role of producer in the upcoming Mental Health and Horror documentary from former Dread Central editor Jonathan Barkan.

Zena was kind enough to take a moment out of her busy, jet-setting schedule to discuss some of the themes that will be explored in the upcoming flick, as well as what horror movies have meant to her own mental health and well being. Check out the full exchange in the player above. And be sure to hit up the comments section to let us know if you will be checking out the film when it’s completed and released.
