Remember When That Stage Prop Fell on Marilyn Manson? You Only Know Half the Story

Back in October of 2017, shock-rocker Marilyn Manson was in a serious accident during a concert. While attempting to climb a large stage prop of oversized handguns, the structure fell on him, shattering his leg. You can check out footage of the incident in the video below.
Manson was on the Eddie Trunk show recently (promoting the next Twins of Evil Tour with Rob Zombie) and the radio host asked him about the incident and his recovery. As for what happened, Manson admits that he was feeling mischievous when he attempted to climb the prop, and had not confirmed that the piece could hold his weight.
What happened next, however, is almost as shocking and outrageous as the accident itself. Manson tells Trunk about arriving at the hospital in full makeup and getting into an argument with a technician who wanted to cut his pants off.
“You can’t ruin my stage pants!” Manson griped.
What happened next takes the cake. In the video at the top of the article (from our friends at Rock Feed), Manson explains the reason a doctor refused to operate on him. It’s definitely not something most of us would admit on a nationally syndicated radio show!
