It’s a good day for Stephen King fans. Along with our previous story in which the prolific scribe reads an except from his upcoming novel Under the Dome, his latest short story, “Premium Harmony”, has appeared online in full for your reading pleasure.

Lilja’s Library, the home for all things King-related, pointed us in the direction of The New Yorker, which published the story about a fight between a husband and wife while they are driving to a convenience store.

Here’s the opening; click the above link for the whole thing:

They’ve been married for ten years and for a long time everything was O.K. — swell — but now they argue. Now they argue quite a lot. It’s really all the same argument. It has circularity. It is, Ray thinks, like a dog track. When they argue, they’re like greyhounds chasing the mechanical rabbit. You go past the same scenery time after time, but you don’t see it. You see the rabbit.

In addition, Lilja’s has a short list of some upcoming TV appearances Stephen King will be making to promote Under the Dome. Keep checking the site as they are updated/expanded over the coming days.
