Cannibal Mayhem Comes to Ohio When Plank Face Premieres in August

Every so often a movie comes along with such an eloquent and subtle title that film scholars could debate its meaning for years to come. And then there’s Plank Face.
The bluntly titled cannibal film is set to premiere at the Gateway Film Center in Columbus, Ohio, on August 27 at 7:30 PM (get your tickets here). They’ve also launched an Indiegogo campaign to help support the DVD release in September, which has already met its goal and then some.
Scott Schirmer directs, and Nathan Barrett, Susan M. Martin, Brigid Macaulay, Alyss Winkler, Jason Hignite, and Ellie Church star. Learn more about Plank Face from its production company’s website.
Synopsis:
A man is captured by a family of feral, wood-dwelling cannibals who want to make him one of their tribe. Can they successfully break him, or will he find their wild ways enticing?
Plank Face is the second film from Bandit Motion Pictures, founded in 2016 by filmmakers Brian K. Williams (Time to Kill) and Scott Schirmer (Found).
