We love creepy movies based on real life. Many of you do, too, seeing how an unsettling new movie inspired by true events is dominating the charts. The #1 thriller on Prime Video is The Silent Twins.
The film is centered on the lives of June and Jennifer Gibbons, real-life identical twins who grew up in Wales and became known as “the silent twins” because of their refusal to communicate with anyone but each other.

The Silent Twins is directed by Agnieszka Smoczynska. It was written by Andrea Seigel and based on Marjorie Wallace’s book of the same name. The movie stars Letitia Wright, Tamara Lawrance, Leah Mondesir-Simmonds, and Eva-Arianna Baxter.
Viewers have taken to Twitter to share their confusion. Some are picking sides and blaming one twin for the events that led to their incarceration. Many are just happy to see this case getting more attention.
