Co-op Soulslike Hellpoint Points at What Day You Can Take a Trip to Hell

If you’ve been waiting for a chance to grab a buddy and go to hell together, Hellpoint is looking to provide that for you. Better yet, now it is also telling when it can provide that. The game will be launching in full for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on July 30th, 2020. If you’re looking for a taste of the game now, there is a demo available on Steam as well.

You play as an explorer trapped in a mysterious world known as Irid Novo. While there’s certainly some stuff worth exploring here, the problem is that the world is overrun with cosmic horrors that want nothing more than to ruin your day. Also, they want to kill you. The solution? Kill them first. The game will offer several weapons, both melee and ranged, which will allow you to do so. Use those weapons more, and you’ll unlock various special abilities for them as well.

However one of the biggest selling points, and most important tools of survival, is the friends you make along the way. Hellpoint can be played in full cooperatively, with the game having both local and online drop-in/drop-out co-op. So if your friend is sitting next to you and wants to do split screen, or if they’re on the other side of the country, you can easily invite them to the game and not have to worry about it stopping you or halting your progress in any way, shape, or form. After all, the friends that fight together die together.

You can add Hellpoint to your Steam wishlist here, and then grab the game when it releases on July 30th. You can also try out Hellpoint: The Thespian Feast, the standalone free to play demo.
