Filmmaker Nick Corbin got in touch with us to help him spread the word that his Kickstarter success short film Dark Things is now available online for mass consumption. Even better? You don’t have to go anywhere – just keep reading and click on the video below to see it.
The 25-minute film was successfully “Kickstarted” in July of 2013. Principal photography took place in August of 2013 at the Mansion View Inn in Toledo, Ohio’s historic “Old West End.” Multiple exteriors were shot in Ida, Michigan. It premiered in April at this year’s Artomatic419! event in downtown Toledo.
Written, directed, filmed, edited, and scored by Nick Corbin, Dark Things stars Marissa Rex, William Toth, Jake Gordy, MacKenzie Stephens, and Grace Knitz.
Synopsis:
During an unexpected move, a woman finds a mysterious box that may link her Sheriff’s Deputy husband to an unsolved Satanic murder.
