Turns out I’m not the only one who’s become more hype than human over Dark Souls III. Eli Roth, horror icon and director of Hostel, Cabin Fever, and The Green Inferno, is flexing his gamer muscles with an animated short that kicks about as much ass as Ornstein and Smough. Check it out:

Words cannot possibly describe how grossly incandescent I am right now. My body is ready, praise the sun! Reviews are still pending, but you can guarantee that as soon as the good people over at Bandai Namco let me, I will regale you with glorious tales of heroic triumphs, crippling defeats, and gankings most savage.

Dark Souls III is available in the US on April 12th for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
