Darkwave Phenoms Dead Can Dance Release Fever Dream Video for ACT II-THE MOUNTAIN

If ever there was proof that horror and beauty can exist together in perfect harmony, it’s the music of international darkwave/goth-rock pioneers Dead Can Dance. Perhaps best recognized by genre fans (whether they know it or not) for performing “Host of The Seraphim”, the harrowing song featured in the gut-wrenching conclusion to 2007’s The Mist, the duo is known for blending soaring vocals with diverse instrumentation and lyrical influences from around the world.

Dead Can Dance (comprised of Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry) recently released a track for “Act II-The Mountain”, the latest single from their latest album Dionysus. Like the music the band creates, it’s a kaleidoscope of imagery both captivating and haunting. It’s got a color palette reminiscent of the early works of Dario Argento with accents both holy and Satanic. Give it a spin below and let us know what you think in the Comments section!
