We’re not entirely sure what’s meant by the description “post-modern slasher,” but the new film Ruin Me will be making its World Premiere later this month at FrightFest in the UK, and today we have its new trailer to share along with a few stills.

Marcienne Dwyer (House Rules for Bad Girls), Matt Dellapina (Dirty 30), Chris Hill (The Dark Knight Rises), and Eva Hamilton (BFF) star in director Preston DeFrancis’ Ruin Me. The film was co-written by DeFrancis and Trysta A. Bissett.

Ruin Me‘s FrightFest screenings will take place on the Discovery Screen, Cineworld Leicester Square, on Saturday, August 26th, and Sunday, August 27th, at 6:30 PM each night.

Synopsis:
Six strangers sign up for a slasher movie re-enactment game in which they are dropped into the woods and pursued by a knife-wielding maniac. But when the body count becomes real, Alexandra (Dwyer), the only participant who has never seen a horror film, must unravel the mystery of who is responsible if she wants to survive the ordeal.
