Guillermo del Toro is a filmmaker with a very specific aesthetic. So, it is unsurprising that he would be a fan of other directors known for having an unusual style. He recently took to Twitter to rain compliments on a new dramedy, so of course, this caught our attention.

In the tweet, he gushed about the “Unique signature” and the “beautiful, painful, and paradoxical exercise in controlled image and neurotic passion.” All this high praise makes us think he lived his best life while watching Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City.
