Kirstie Alley Joins Scream Queens Season 2; Full Synopsis for Episode 2.01 – Scream Again

“Scream Queens” Season 2 kicks off a week from tomorrow, but that doesn’t mean we’re done talking about new cast members just yet. Today word has come that Kirstie Alley (“Cheers,” Look Who’s Talking) has signed on for the show’s sophomore season.
Per Variety, Alley will play a brilliant and devious administrator at the C.U.R.E. Institute, where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation.
Along with word of Alley’s casting, we have the official synopsis of the season premiere, Episode 2.01, “Scream Again,” in which Jerry O’Connell (“Mistresses”) and Cecily Strong (“Saturday Night Live”) guest star.
THE CHANELS ARE BACK… AND A NEW MYSTERY BEGINS. Years after the murderous events at Kappa House, Dean Munsch purchases an abandoned hospital under the guise of fixing the healthcare system in America. After recruiting surgeons Dr. Brock Holt and Dr. Cassidy Cascade, as well as medical student Zayday Williams, the Dean shocks everyone when she enlists the services of the disgraced Chanels to join the ranks at the teaching hospital. Meanwhile, secrets from the hospital’s past begin to reveal themselves, and a new killer surfaces.
