Rest in Peace: The Walking Dead Stuntman John Bernecker Dies After On-Set Injury

Tragic news has come today as stuntman John Bernecker has died after sustaining injuries on the set of “The Walking Dead,” which is shooting its 8th season in Atlanta. The stuntman was practicing a routine fall when he lost his footing, fell 30 feet, and landed on concrete. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced braindead and taken off life support, according to Deadline. Production has obviously been temporarily halted.
Bernecker’s other credits include films such as Logan, Black Panther, Get Out, Goosebumps, and Oldboy, TV series “Scream Queens,” and more. His death is a tragic loss not only to the stunt community but to the entire film world.
