Universal will release producer Michael Bay’s COVID thriller Songbird on Blu-ray on March 16th. Check out the special features and also the killer cover art below.

Filmed during the pandemic, the MPPA gave it a PG-13 rating for violence including some bloody images, sexual material, partial nudity, and some strong language.

The killer cast includes KJ Apa (Riverdale), Sofia Carson (Descendants), Alexandra Daddario, Bradley Whitford, Craig Robinson, Demi Moore, and Paul Walter Hauser.
It takes place in 2024 where the virus has mutated into COVID-23, 50% of the infected die, and the world is forced into stringent lockdown camps. A frontline courier immune from the virus falls in love with a woman while trying to figure out how to fight for humanity. Songbird currently does not have a release date.
