Scream Factory will release Friday the 13th director Sean S. Cunningham’s A Stranger Is Watching with Kate Mulgrew and Rip Torn on Blu-ray on July 20th. The new special features are still in the works. Scream Factory will announce them later.

Cunningham directed the flick from a screenplay written by Victor Miller (Friday the 13th) and Earl Mac Rauch (The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension) based on the 1977 novel by Mary Higgins Clark (Where Are the Children?).
Kate Mulgrew (Orange Is the New Black) and Rip Torn (Men in Black) star. Their co-stars include James Naughton, Shawn von Schreiber, and Barbara Baxley co-star.

The thriller follows a psychopath as he imprisons a little girl and a famous reporter in the dank maze of tunnels beneath New York City’s Grand Central Station. He first wants to collect a ransom… and then murder his captives. His victims’ only hope is their own wits. And the aid of homeless people who roam this urban netherworld.
