Short Film Grave Shivers Is an Anthology of Awesome

Anthologies are typically feature length films comprised of any number of shorts, though Emmy-nominated filmmaker Brent Sims doesn’t really care about playing by the rules. With Grave Shivers he’s created an anthology short, and it’s just the sort of thing we recommend watching on a day like today!

Ahead of its October 30th screening at the Mann’s Chinese Theater, the award-winning Grave Shivers has just made its way online for all to see, and it packs quite a punch for its mere 13-minute runtime.

The sci-fi/horror anthology weaves together three tales of monsters, killers, and things that go bump in the night, each of them ending with an EC Comics-style twist that you likely won’t see coming.

Grave Shivers was funded on Kickstarter under the project name Dreadtime Stories. After offering Kickstarter supporters an “anti-found footage” approach to classic horror storytelling from the 1980s, the project reached its funding goal and beyond.
