Dates Announced for Orlando's 7th Annual Freak Show Film FestGet ready for some real magic, Orlando. Sure, Dwight Howard probably won’t be in town when October rolls around, but what you can count on is another weekend of kick-ass horror movies at the 7th Annual Freak Show Horror Film Festival.

The Freak Show will take place during the weekend of October 26-28, 2012, at its new home, The Hilton Orlando. Last year Clive Barker received a Lifetime Achievement “Freaky” Award. We can’t wait to see what surprises the festival organizers have up their sleeves this time.

The 7th Annual Freak Show Horror Film Festival announced today that its grand event will take place Halloween Weekend, October 26-28, 2012, at The Hilton Orlando located on International Drive.

Horror Fans interested in attending the event can find more information at the Festival website. Filmmakers can also submit their feature length and short horror films now at the website as well. The Early Deadline for Entries is February 17, 2012. Enter your film early to save money on submission fees. The Freak Show Horror Film Festival is a horror genre film festival founded by Fear Film Motion Picture Studio’s owner Robert J. Massetti. The Festival is part of Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend, which is the largest horror convention in the state of Florida, drawing more than 15,000 horror fans annually. The convention features celebrity guests, bands, tattoo room, and huge after parties by the pool.

The Hilton gives the Festival larger, 4-star accommodations for both filmmakers and horror fans attending the event. “We are very excited to be moving to the Hilton Orlando,” states Founder and Festival Director Robert J. Massetti. “As we continue to improve the Festival, the move give us more room to grow.”
