See Haunted House Calls for One Night Only at ZJU Theatre; Devils Love at Midnight Starts August 12th

We love movies here at Dread Central, but nothing beats the live theatre experience, and Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group in North Hollywood, California, is one of our favorites. Few theatre groups cater to the horror crowd like they do, and we’re happy to pass on some information about two of their upcoming plays.
First up, this weekend for one night only, Saturday, August 6th, at 8:30 pm is Haunted House Calls: Zombie Joe’s Underground hosts World Class Magician Micah Cover’s chilling interactive performance of magic and mystery. A ghost story intertwined with the pain of lost love and the timeless power of hope, as a husband and wife vanish forever – without a trace. Tickets are only $20 and will benefit the American Red Cross.
Next is Devils Love at Midnight, which will run on Friday nights at 11:00 pm from August 12th through September 2nd. It’s an enchantingly gritty new production of playwright Zombie Joe’s canon of mini-plays revealing love’s wicked delights. Directed by Jana Wimer and Sebastian Munoz. Tickets for this show are just $15 each.
