Air Collision is the newest airplane-themed disaster flick from The Asylum fresh on the heels of last year’s even more uninspiring titled Airline Disaster. So what will next year’s version be? Air Crash? Airline Tragedy? Airplane Accident?
Short filmmaker Liz Adams makes her feature debut as writer-director of this soaring disaster thriller about a passenger jet and the President’s Air Force One locked on a collision course above the Midwest after a solar storm wipes out the air traffic control system.
Synopsis:
Reginald VelJohnson (Die Hard) plays an aircraft controller in a worst-case scenario. Jordan Ladd (Cabin Fever) is an optimistic stewardess while Dave Vescio stars as Eli, a man hellbent on destroying the passengers’ confidence. Eli sees their death at 30,000 feet: “We are all going to die!”
Meanwhile, the President of the United States (Andy Clemence) will have to decide if others can be sacrificed to keep Air Force One flying.
Gerald Webb (Zombie Apocalypse) Darin Cooper, and Kevin Yarbrough also star.
Air Collision nosedives onto DVD, Blu-ray, and VOD March 27th.
