Chris Roe Wins Best Director at Crimson Screen Film Fest for CEMETERY TALES: A TALE OF TWO SISTERS

“Chris Roe has given audiences a dark, eloquent tale which for all its brevity plunges us into a world that remains a potent memory long after the credits roll. Shot with elegance by Alex Wysocki and enriched by a score by Jonathan Hartman which has a classic feel, Mr. Roe’s A Tale of Two Sisters is made with a welcome love of style and subtlety” -Clive Barker (HellraiserNightbreedCandymanLord of Illusion)

Regular readers of Dread Central know that we’re huge supporters of Chris Roe and his burgeoning horror series, Cemetery Tales. The first installment, A Tale of Two Sisters, has been igniting the festival circuit in 2019 and, this weekend, the production added another laurel to its crown.

“This is one of those films that really grabs some people,” Roe told us recently. “Audiences are really noticing the beauty of the black and white brought to life by our DP, Alex Wysocki, the fabulous music score by Jonathan Hartman, the great editing by Mike Bruining, and the wonderful costuming by Kris Deskins. People who are really into film don’t miss those key components.”

Congratulation to Roe along with the entire cast and crew of Cemetery Tales: A Tale of Two Sister!
