Exclusive Trailer: Duane “Dog” Chapman Stars in Found-Footage Shocker HUNTER’S CREED

Four friends have their resolve tested when a hunting trip takes a gripping turn in Hunter’s Creed. Duane “Dog” Chapman (Dog the Bounty Hunter) and Wesley Truman Daniel (Second Samuel) star in the found-footage thriller, available On Demand, Digital & DVD October 6th.

Synopsis:
After losing his wife, a man reunites with his church buddies to film the hunting show they’ve always wanted to make together. Before long, he senses a dark presence in the woods eventually bringing him face to face with death – both physically and spiritually.

Duane “Dog” Chapman plays himself in the movie and is joined by actors Wesley Truman Daniel, Mickey O’Sullivan, Ann Sonneville, John Victor Allen, James Errico, and LaDios Muhammad.

“I have to give a huge shoutout to our producer, Jacquelyn Jamjoom, who suggested that we have Dog play himself in the film, adding to the reality of the world we were creating vs having him play a fictional character,” says Director Justin Jackola.

Written by Ken Miyamoto, Hunter’s Creed is a found-footage feature focused on the realistic nature of the genre. Director Justin Jackola spent a lot of time and energy on maintaining the authentic found-footage storytelling techniques of the film.

“Originally the script wasn’t even being written as a found-footage film, but we realized, as we continued to write, that the film would ultimately be better as a found-footage film.” Jackola states.

Shot in a 120-year-old cabin in Savanna Illinois, the scenes feel raw, to the extent that there is no score in the film. There was always a reason for a camera to be on, and the cinematography lends itself to mistakes, to make the film feel natural. The scenes show a first-person perspective throughout the film as the church buddies document their journey through the woods.

Hunter’s Creed was produced by Jackola & Jamjoom. Executive producers include John W. Bosher, Chris Charles, Ted Reilly, Kelly Aisthorpe Waller & John Waller with Ken Miyamoto as Co-Producer and Samantha George as Associate Producer.
