One of the best damned British anthology series is no doubt “Hammer House of Horror,” and if you’re a BritBox subscriber, you can dig on all the spookiness just in time for Halloween!

BritBox, the streaming service from BBC Worldwide and ITV, will soon be debuting “Hammer House of Horror.” Named by the British Film Institute (BFI) as one of the Top 10 horror shows, this anthology series from 1980 made a shocking impact on the world of science fiction with its eye for devilish detail. Produced by England’s leading exporters of all things horror, the thriller told tales of the supernatural with Brian Cox, Peter Cushing, Anna Calder-Marshall, Nicholas Ball, and Pierce Brosnan (in his FIRST TV appearance) comprising this ever-changing cast.

The show will make its BritBox debut on October 28th, and we have a clip from one of its most iconic episodes, “The House that Bled to Death.” The episode centers on a couple who move with their young daughter into a house that was once the site of a brutal murder. As the family settles in, eerie, unexplainable events begun to occur – culminating in a birthday celebration going horribly wrong.
