Antonia Thomas Leads Cast of Demonic Thriller Thea

In the world of horror, the birth of a child is almost always a bad thing, whether we’re talking classics like Rosemary’s Baby and The Omen or more recent films such as Devil’s Due and Delivery. That sub-genre gets a new addition with Thea, and we’ve got the scoop for ya today!
Screen Daily reports that “Misfits” star Antonia Thomas (below) leads the cast of the London-set thriller, alongside Luke Norris (“Poldark”) and Eileen Davies (Sightseers). Filming is now under way in the capital.
Thomas and Norris play a young couple whose lives are turned upside down when the birth of their first child is accompanied by terrifying entities that threaten their newly formed family.
Directed by Nirpal Bhogal (“Misfits”) and produced by Uzma Hasan (The Infidel), the film is co-produced by Gareth Roberts and Jezz Vernon. Paul Hyett (The Woman in Black) is the creature designer while the team behind electro outfit Gazelle Twin will be composing an original score under the moniker Newt and Benge.
The film is a co-production between Little House Productions and Moli Films and is the first of a slate announced by the site earlier this year which Metrodome is selling internationally and releasing in the UK/Ireland.
