Actress Anna Faris has long been a staple in the Scary Movie franchise. No matter how bad they got she was always there front and center with a big smile on her face. So will she be in the recently announced Scary Movie 5? It sure doesn’t sound like it.
Coming Soon caught up with Faris who had this to say on whether or not she would be around for round 5. “No, I don’t think I’m going to do it. I don’t think I’m part of that. I don’t know exactly what’s happening with it, but I hear it’s sort of in the works and stuff.”
Maybe it’ll just stay there?
Malcolm Lee (Roll Bounce, Undercover Brother) will direct Scary Movie 5 with production slated to begin this summer. Casting is under way but David Zucker, who wrote and directed both Scary Movie 3 and 4, will also be returning to co-write and produce the fifth installment alongside Lee.
