Kirsten Dunst to star in A Jealous GhostA director is now on board for the adaptation of A.N. Wilson’s novel A Jealous Ghost, which Kirsten Dunst is producing and will star in. THR reports that King of the Hill director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego is now the man calling the shots on the film.

A Jealous Ghost tells of an American girl who travels to London to write a dissertation on Henry James’ classic ghost story Turn of the Screw. The longer she studies the work and the more strange things happen to her, she begins to realize that events in her own life are reflecting the occurrences in James’ tale.

Paramount Vantage is producing the project, which may become a priority now that Vantage is looking to reshape its image into something viable after being rolled into Paramount proper back in July. It sounds like it could easily roll before the end of the year; keep it here for details as we gather them!
