A full-length official trailer for Nickelodeon’s upcoming limited series event Are You Afraid of the Dark has been released and it’s something special, folks! Looking WAY more mature and dark than the original 1990 TV series, this three-episode series looks like a perfect double-bill with the recently released Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. Dark, mysterious, and chock full of creepy carnival terror, Nickelodeon seems to be ready to spook some kids this Halloween!
The first episode of the series will air October 11 at 7 pm EST/PST with the following episodes coming out on October 18 and October 25.
“Are You Afraid of the Dark? will follow members of an entirely new Midnight Society, who tell a terrifying tale of the Carnival of Doom and its evil ringmaster Mr. Top Hat, only to witness the shocking story come frightfully to life.“
The new limited series revival stars Sam Ashe Arnold, Miya Cech, Tamara Smart, Jeremy Taylor, Lyliana Wray, and Rafael Casal.
