Syfy
The Syfy channel and director McG. For whatever reason those things sound so right together. Like they were meant to be. And now finally they are almost together.
Syfy is ordering a third season (13 episodes) of its hit series "Being Human", it was announced today by Mark Stern, President of Original Content, Syfy and Co-Head of Original Content, Universal Cable Productions. "Lost Girl" seems to be doing pretty well for Syfy, especially with "Being Human" as its lead-in, and in the next episode we'll be getting a bit more back story on lead character Bo. Check out a preview of and a clip from Episode 1.05, "Dead Lucky".
Syfy wasn't kidding when they said this season of "Being Human" is all about temptation! Last night's episode took a really dark turn down that path, and from what's shown in this preview and clip from Episode 2.05, "Addicted to Love", it doesn't look like things will be changing soon.
The Syfy Channel is once again ready to tango with its greatest opponent - Mother Nature. Thus far this bitch has unleashed sharks of multiple sizes, gatoroids, a slew of mega-whatevers, enormous icebergs that move at super speeds, and now they're getting ready to find footage of some unlucky stormchasers.
Aside from the Winchester brothers themselves, our favorite character on "Supernatural" is probably Crowley, as portrayed by Mark Sheppard. Now he's stepping behind the camera for Syfy's Jules Verne’s Mysterious Island, and we have all the details you need right here along with the trailer and a few never-before-seen photos.
We haven't heard much feedback so far regarding Syfy's "Lost Girl" (we have a few episodes recorded but haven't had a chance to watch yet), but hopefully you guys are enjoying it. To help get you ready for next Monday's episode, here's a sneak peek clip from Episode 1.04, "Faetal Attraction".
While we await the debut of the fourth season of the UK's "Being Human" next month, Season 2 of Syfy's take on the series is chugging along nicely, and in anticipation of Episode 2.04, "(I Loathe You) For Sentimental Reasons", which airs February 6th, we have a preview and a sneak peek.
Tired of seeing New York and Los Angeles get destroyed on film? Wish disaster movies could find a different metropolis to reduce to rubble? This weekend’s Swamp Volcano unleashes a lava storm on Miami. And then a month from now you can take a double-dip trip to the black forest of fairy tales in two back-to-back Syfy original premieres: Black Forest and Gretl: Witch Hunter.
It may not be the most popular view in town, but we are really enjoying the second season of Syfy's "Being Human" as so far it's bringing the perfect mix of horror and dark comedy to the small screen. Today we have a preview and sneak peek clip from the upcoming Episode 2.03, "All Out of Blood", to share.
Last night's return of "Being Human" on Syfy answered the one big question we had coming in to Season 2: Was Nora turned by Josh? If you haven't watched yet, you might want to avoid this preview and sneak peek of next week's Episode 2.02, "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?"
We've been looking forward to Syfy's upcoming new original docuseries "Monster Man" since we first heard about it, and now we know when we'll be able to see it! Look for the "Monster Man" premiere on Wednesday, March 14th, at 11:00 PM (ET/PT).
Syfy's "Being Human" Season 2 debuts tonight, January 16th, and in honor of its return, along with that of two of the network's other popular series, "Ghost Hunters" and "Face Off", last week, they're providing one lucky Dread Central winner with a prize pack of t-shirts from all three shows. Read on for the details.
Season 2 of Syfy's "Being Human" premieres on Monday, January 16th, and as a follow-up to the two-part interview we posted earlier this week with showrunners Anna Fricke and Jeremy Carver (
Part 1 here and
Part 2 here), the network brought out the big guns - stars Sam Witwer, Sam Huntington, and Meaghan Rath - for a teleconference touching upon what fans have to look forward to from the trio.
