Last spring during SXSW Dread Central had an opportunity to chat with almost the entire cast of Bellflower, and with the film’s impending limited release starting tomorrow, we thought this would be a good time to share it with our readers.
Ti West's The Innkeepers will be playing on June 19th and 22nd at this year's LA Film Festival, and in honor of the occasion, a new still from the film has been released by Dark Sky Films. Synopsis

SXSW 2011: Exclusive Video Interview - Dread Central Chats with the Director and Cast of My Sucky Teen Romance
Writer/director Emily Hagins has quickly become a filmmaking force to be reckoned with, and she’s only 18 years old.
SXSW 2011: Exclusive Video Interview: Todd Rohal, Robert Longstreet and Steve Little Talk The Catechism Cataclysm
The Catechism Cataclysm is one of those quirky little movies that sort of defies definition. The buddy comedy turned bizarre nightmare caught me completely off guard and turned out to be one of the most refreshing films I had the opportunity to check out during the South by Southwest Film Festival.
Writer/director Spencer Susser first popped up on our radar with his “young romance amidst the zombie apocalypse” short film I Love Sarah Jane, which has garnered a huge amount of buzz since its release in 2008.
Undoubtedly, one of the most polarizing genre movies of the South by Southwest Film Festival was writer/director Joseph Kahn’s Detention. It’s definitely one of those ‘love it or hate it’ flicks that is filled with flashy images, pop culture references, and quick edits that you’d come to expect from a legendary music video director like Kahn.
Undoubtedly, writer/director Ti West is making quite a name for himself within the horror community in just a very short time. It’s hard to believe his directorial debut The Roost was about only 6 years ago, but here we are now celebrating the recent South by Southwest premiere of The Innkeepers, West’s fifth feature horror film to date.
On our last night at the South by Southwest Film Festival, we finally got to experience a movie that we'd been waiting to see for almost a year now - Jason Eisener's brilliant balls-out Grindhouse flick Hobo With a Shotgun, and we certainly weren't disappointed by the chance to indulge in some "justice…one shell at a time."
One of the more delightfully badass flicks that was featured during the 2011 South by Southwest Film Festival is writer/director James Gunn’s Super, which stars Rainn Wilson as a deranged self-imposed superhero who bashes people with a wrench in an attempt to thwart crime.
SXSW 2011: Exclusive Video Interview - Nick Frost, Joe Cornish and Edgar Wright Talk Attack the Block
It’s no wonder to this writer that first-time feature filmmaker Joe Cornish is now celebrating the fact his new project, Attack the Block, was just handed the 2011 SXSW Midnighter/SXFantastic Audience Award this past weekend since it seemed to be one of the most buzzed-about films of the entire festival in Austin.
By far one of this writer’s favorite movie experiences of the 2011 South by Southwest Film Festival was checking out director James Wan’s latest genre effort, Insidious, which reteams Wan with his long-time collaborator Leigh Whannell.
