Retro Survival Horror Inspired ‘Crow Country’ Gets New Trailer For Xbox [Video]

The highly anticipated Crow Country announced today that it will also be coming to Xbox Series S/X. This is in addition to its PlayStation and PC release on May 9th, 2024.

Crow Country, which made its debut in October 2023, is a unique blend of visually stunning art styles reminiscent of the iconic Final Fantasy 7. Adding in gameplay mechanics that pay homage to the golden era of survival horror. This game is a true testament to the evolution of the genre, promising a thrilling experience for survival horror fans.

In Crow Country, players will step into the shoes of Mara Forest, embarking on a perilous journey into the heart of the abandoned theme park, ‘Crow Country.’ As the mystery of the park’s owner, Edward Crow, and Mara’s own identity unfolds, survival becomes the ultimate challenge. This immersive narrative is sure to keep players on the edge of their seats. With the amount of story the team has been able to keep under wraps, no one knows what is in store.

Fans of survival horror will find themselves right at home with the mix of puzzle-solving, resource management, and, of course, all things horror. Everything I’ve seen of Crow Country has me on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what SFB games have in store for us. Thankfully, with its announcement today, more players will be able to dive in and play through the horrors that the team behind Snipper Clips has created.

Recently, Sci-Fi horror hit Signals has taken my top spot for best survival horror experience, and nothing has come close. What I’ve experienced in the Crow Country demo, which is available now on Steam, has me wondering if Crow Country will be my new favorite. It knows how to wear its inspiration on its sleeves while making its own identity known. I can’t wait for Crow Country to come out, and thankfully, I won’t have to wait long.
