Just this morning we got ahold of the first TV spot for director Chris Gorak's The Darkest Hour, and since it left us wanting to see more from this 3D alien invasion extravaganza that has mind-blowing effects contributed by Timur Bekmambetov, we wrangled up some new stills -- enough for a whole gallery!

We don't know about you guys, but for us nothing says Christmas quite like an alien invasion, which is why we can't wait until we're done unwrapping presents so we can head out to the multiplex to watch The Darkest Hour. And to help pass the time between now and December 25th, here's a new TV spot for the flick entitled "Survivors".

In just a few weeks Christmas will be here, and intergalactic menaces will be turning the human race into dust in the new invasion flick The Darkest Hour. Sounds good to us! Behold the Singapore trailer and a new behind-the-scenes featurette!

By now no doubt all the hardcore Twi-hards have seen The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (review here) via midnight screenings last night or the first showings this morning so how about a few behind-the-scenes videos to tide you over until you can round up some friends to catch a second viewing?

In our house the plan is to head out and catch the upcoming alien invasion flick The Darkest Hour even though this newest international one-sheet for the flick doesn't do a lot to generate increased interest in the flick.
