Sucker Punch

Dread Central hit the press junket for Summit Entertainment’s upcoming Sorority Row Sunday in Beverly Hills (and while spoilers are embargoed till the film’s release on September 11), we did talk with Sorority Row actress Jamie Chung regarding her upcoming role in filmmaker Zack (Dawn of the Dead remake, 300) Snyder’s feature film Sucker Punch (which is slated for a 2011 release and is currently in pre-production).

Along with the previously announced Jon Hamm, Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch has added another good-looking man to its predominantly female cast: Guatemalan actor Oscar Isaac, who most recently appeared in Body of Lies and Che: Part One.

The cast of Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch just got a whole lot more interesting to this Woman thanks to the addition of "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm. It's about time a male was announced to join the previously named Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish, and Carla Gugino.

I was one of the many who were disappointed when "Big Love"'s Amanda Seyfried had to withdraw from Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch. But her replacement was announced today, and I must say things are indeed looking up for the project once again.

Looks like "Big Love" starlet Amanda Seyfried won't be tackling Zack Snyder's next big-screen effort, Sucker Punch after all. According to EW Seyfried has to withdraw from the film due to scheduling conflicts.

It may not be 100% horror, but since the possible next film for Watchmen director Zack Snyder is described as ”Alice in Wonderland with machine guns”, I can’t help but think horror fans will find something to dig about it.
