The creative team behind the independent feature horror film Straight on Till Morning is proud to announce that they will be auctioning off a one-line role in their upcoming feature production in support of “Bowling for Boobies”. The event is a staple of the horror community and one which Dread Central scribe Sean Decker has been directly involved with for the last couple of years.

Straight on Till Morning is the tale of a small town musician driving cross-country who meets the girl of his dreams at a convenience store in an off-the-map town. But happily ever after comes to a screeching halt when their car is sabotaged, stranding them deep in the desolate desert…

The film is about taking the risk to live life to the fullest, the consequences of making that choice, and the noble and terrible things people will do in the name of love. It stars Maria Olsen (Percy Jackson and the Olympians), Brooke Lewis (Kinky Killers, iMurders), Camden Toy (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Angel”), Kyle T. Heffner (Flashdance), Tim Lacatena (Step Up), Laurel Marlantes, John Lee Ames, Stevens Gaston, and Samantha Simon.

The film is directed and produced by Craig Ouellette along with production company Angel Jane Films. The screenplay is written by Neal McLaughlin, and the composer is Thomas Corkran. Additional producers are Brian Erzen and Laurel Marlantes. The casting director is Greg Phelan.

Filming begins this fall in Los Angeles and the Mojave desert. Then the production will film the road trip portion with a skeleton crew and the lead actors, traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago. For more info visit the official Straight on Till Morning website.

About “Bowling for Boobies”:
Horror actresses will unite on October 24th, 2010 for the 6th Annual Bowling for Boobies, a charity bowling event run by The Busted Foundation, which serves to assist local Los Angeles women battling breast cancer, at Jillian’s Hi-Life at Universal City Walk, Universal City, CA.

The actresses’ bowling team – named “The Horror Starlets” – has been assembled by Dreadcentral.com film journalist Sean Decker and is comprised of Decker and actress Sarah Butler, star of the October 8th Anchor Bay Entertainment unrated theatrical release I Spit on Your Grave, Ashlynn (of the award-winning Human Centipede) Yennie, scream queen Bianca (Albino Farm) Barnett, producers and actresses Tracy (Dark Woods, Zombie Honeymoon) Coogan and Brooke (iMurders, Straight on Till Morning) Lewis, Wicked Lake and Lucky McKee’s upcoming Offspring: The Woman’s Carlee Baker, and the as-of-yet unannounced winner of the currently running VH1 reality series “Scream Queens 2”. In addition, Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Go’s will be on hand to knock down some pins with “The Horror Starlets”.

As for the Bowling for Boobies / Straight on Till Morning tie-in, “I have a very intense personal history with cancer in my family,” says Craig Ouellette, the film’s director. “One of the defining moments of my life is my mother’s year-long battle with brain cancer in 2000-2001. It’s something that I still deal with on a daily basis. Cancer scares me. I’m hopeful that we will be able to raise some good money to help local women who are dealing with breast cancer. It’s hard enough to fight cancer, let alone to have to worry about the monetary cost of fighting it.”
