Zombies Invade London!
We just got word from Revolver Entertainment that a massive zombie invasion is being planned for Leicester Square, London, on Monday, August 27th. Are we warning you about it you so you’ll stay away and thus not become a member of the shuffling dead? Hell no! You need to be there for it!
The Zombie Walk is being put on in conjunction with the Frighfest screening of Michael Bartlett & Kevin Gates’ Zombie Diaries (review), you see. The dead will convene at 9:30am in Leicester Square, terrorize London proper for an hour or so, then head back to the Odeon West End Cinema for the film's screening.
If they pull off the numbers they’re hoping for, this event could break the world’s record for most animated corpses at one time, aka Biggest Zombie Walk (the record is currently held by Pittsburgh for a 2006 walk). If you’re planning on showing up still alive, don’t worry; they’ll have makeup artists on hand to make sure you’re part of the legion of the damned.
Make sure you click here to register for the Zombie Walk; otherwise they might shoot you on sight! When you're done, check out the official Frightfest site for more info on the festival, and for more on Zombie Diaries be sure to check out our interview with the film’s directors right here!
