Zombie Names His Loomis

Without question one of the most anticipated movies of 2007 is Rob Zombie's latest entry in the Halloween franchise.

As an early Christmas present to fans, word has come out of the Zombie camp via MySpace that the role of Dr. Sam Loomis, made immortal by the incredibly missed Donald Pleasence, has finally been cast.

Joining Sheri Moon Zombie, Heather Bowen, and Daeg Faerch (young Michael Myers) will be none other than Malcolm McDowell.

Can a film that's part remake and part prequel work?

Zombie has proven to fans everywhere that he has the directorial chops to pull this one off after riding high on the success of The Devil's Rejects. As of now all eyes are on him.
