Young Hopper Cast in Craven's Next

Henry Lee Hopper (on the right) joins 25/8The cast for Wes Craven’s next horror venture,25/8, is beginning to take shape according to The Hollywood Reporter, and finally we have a bit of plot we can work with.

Dennis Hooper’s son, Henry Lee Hopper, is in the lead role of Bug, one of seven teens being haunted by a serial killer who supposedly died 15 years previous. The film unfolds over the course of one day as the kids try to find out how the killer can be stopped.

Joining Hooper are Denzel Whittaker, Shareeka Epps and Emily Meade. This is Hopper’s first professional acting gig, and Craven is purposefully casting relative unknowns to get rid of any preconceptions as to who might die first. 25/8 is a tentative tile and will hopefully change soon, by the way.
