Just got the good news from consummate badass Joe Lynch that his debut film, Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (review) has been accepted into the prestigious Sitges Film Festival!
The film will be on a double bill with David Arquette’s The Tripper on October 12th as part of the festival’s Midnight X-Treme programming. Now, really, what are the chances of a direct to DVD sequel getting the oppurtunity to play a fest like Sitges if it doesn’t kick as much ass as we told you it did? Sure, Lynch is charming but he’s not that charming.
To your right you can see the poster they whipped up for the sequel’s debut at the show, courtesy of Joe’s official site. And if you’re in or around Burbank on October 9th, be sure to hit up Dark Delicacies where Joe and composer Bear McCreary will be signing DVDs on the day of its release!
Make a right turn to hit the Dread Central forums!
