Wiseman Say Gears of War Planned Trilogy

Len Wiseman recently chatted with the boys at Bloody Disgusting and revealed both some good and bad news for his planned adaptation of the “>Gears of War video game.
The good news? They’re planning on the films being a trilogy, which shouldn’t come anywhere near being surprising to anyone. Ever. I long for the day that some filmmaker comes out and says “I’ve always envisioned this movie as a quartet”.
Now for the bad news, from the horse’s mouth, as it were; “It’s going to be much more [on the] science fiction side of it than the creature side of it,” Wiseman told the site. “I’ve always been much more of a sci-fi action fan than a horror fan.”
Which goes a long way to explaining why Underworld and its sequel weren’t nearly as cool as they could’ve been. Hey, as long as he makes Gears of War look cool, and by “cool” I do not mean tinted fucking blue for the entire thing, I’ll be happy.
