Winston Produces Demon

Love me some news about demons, yes I do.

Bloody Disgusting got word today about a new film in production at Stan Winston Studios, working with Odyssey Entertainment, called Speed Demon. Though it's not new (it was originally announced in Variety a while back), it's the first we've heard of the film, will mark the directing debut of Eight Legged Freaks and Godzilla producer Peter Winther, telling the story of a underworld enforcer on the trail of a small time crook, only to realize he’s being followed by a sinister entity himself.

Mike Sorrentino & Randy Vampotic, whose only other credits that I could find is the I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus script, wrote the screenplay Winther will be working from. Not much in the way of genre cred, no, but we’ll see what the duo can do!
